The program that I use to make Flash animations is Flash 8 Professional (Kinda obvious) and the program I use to make animated GIFs is also Flash 8 Pro.
I started animating when I got Flash 8 Pro. which was about a year ago.

With flash, I've animated maybe like 7 months..
But then, I've used thousands of other programs.. so it's like 2 years.
